The Foundation

We develop and present new ways to align the live mediation of classical music to younger generations through contemporary means.

Research Activities

The foundation conducts academic research inspired by the contemporary, multimedia, and multisensory performance practices found in other art forms, in sports, and in the event industry.

Projects

The foundation develops and presents contemporary concert formats tailored especially to younger generations, exploring new and modern approaches to live presentations of primarily classical music.

Currently, no specific projects are planned.

Campaigns

The foundation aims to raise awareness of the positive effects of classical music through targeted communication campaigns, particularly among younger audiences.

65% of non-attendants of classical concerts find no emotional connection to the music

82% of the under 35 year olds consider the common concert format to be old-fashioned and unattractive

the average age of the Swiss classical music audience is around 65 years and is increasing disproportionately to the entire population

people worldwide spend more than eight hours every day in the digital (and thus multimedia) world
